\nmaterial elements become manifest in a sequence from most subtle to gross
\n1st subtle element to manifest is the false ego or ahankara and from this subtle element or material concept the other elements gradually manifest
\nthe false ego is of three kinds or manifests itself in three ways
\ngoodness, passion and ignorance
\nsattva, rajas, and tamas

Canto 2 ch 5 Verses 24-29<\/p>\n

From the darkness of false ego five elements are generated.<\/p>\n

1) Sky becomes manifested first. Its subtle form is the quality
\n of sound.<\/p>\n

2) Because sky is transformed air is generated with its subtle
\n quality of touch. (It also contains the quality of sound).<\/p>\n

3) When air is transformed fire is generated with its subtle
\n quality of shape or form. (Fire also contains the qualities of
\n sound and touch).<\/p>\n

4) When fire is transformed water is generated with its subtle
\n quality of taste. (Water also contains the qualities of sound,
\n touch and form).<\/p>\n

5) When water is transformed earth is generated with its subtle
\n quality of smell. (Earth also contains the qualities of sound,
\n touch form and taste).<\/p>\n

\n\u5047\u6211\u5728\u611a\u6627\u5c5e\u6027\u4e2d\u7684\u5c55\u793a\u3002\u8584\u4f3d\u74e6\u8c2d \u7b2c\u4e8c\u7ae0 \u7b2c24\u523029\u8bd7\u8282
\n\u4e94\u5927\u739b\u54c8\u5e03\u5854\uff0c\u4e94\u5927\u5143\u7d20\u5e08\u571f\uff0c\u6c34\uff0c\u706b\uff0c\u7a7a\u6c14\u548c\u4ee5\u592a\u3002

From false ego in the mode of passion all of the sense organs are generated.<\/p>\n

There are two kinds of senses;<\/p>\n

Knowledge acquiring senses Working senses<\/p>\n

1) ears 1) hands
\n 2) skin 2) legs
\n 3) eyes 3) voice
\n 4) tongue 4)
\n 5) nose 5) genitals<\/p>\n

The intelligence and the living energy are also generated.<\/p>\n

no 4 should be missing – anus<\/p>\n

Manifestations of false ego in goodness.
\nVerse 30<\/p>\n

From false ego in the mode of goodness the mind is generated and becomes manifested. The ten demigods controlling bodily movements are also manifested.<\/p>\n

\u5047\u6211\u5728\u6fc0\u60c5\u5c5e\u6027\u7684\u5c55\u793a\uff0c\u7b2c31\u8bd7\u8282<\/p>\n

time, false ego, false ego then transforms into goodness, passion and ignorance

\nPradhana \u672a\u5c55\u793a\u7684\u7269\u8d28\u80fd\u91cf<\/p>\n

sometimes the atma and the paramatma are also included making 26 elements
\n\u6709\u4e9b\u65f6\u523b\u7075\u9b42\u548c\u8d85\u7075\u4e5f\u5305\u62ec\u5728\u8fd926\u79cd\u5143\u7d20\u4e2d<\/p>\n

each universe develops a covering of earth, water, fire, air, either, mind, intelligence and false ego with each covering being 10 times thicker than the previous element
